Looking for idea's my five year old boy still wets the bed. I have tried lifting, not lifting, a buzzer which he just pulls out and dri nite pants. At the moment I lift him when I go to bed making sure I wake him up and make him go himself. But he is still wet, some nites he thinks he has been dry but he is such a heavy sleeper that he has not woken up and it has dried off a bit in the night. I also use a incontance sheet on his bed to help. Also does anyone know of a cover for the duvet too sometimes he wets that too. Any idea's would be much appricated. At the moment it feels if it is just me as most of class at school seem to be dry.

At this age it's still perfectly normal to be weeing at night. Put him back in night-nappies. He's too young to learn with the buzzer, and it just causes an un-necessary stress to both you and him. Give it at least another year before you try again.

My 6.5yo ds1 and 4.5yo dd are both still in nappies at night, as is one of ds1's friends, and the cousins of another of his friends. And we're only the parents who are prepared to talk about it, so I'm sure there are plenty more children int he same situation.

my dd 6.3 is still in night time nappies. tried without same didn't even wake when she was wet. I got feedup of changing sheets and dd got upset at not been able to stay dry. Gone back to nappies. I'm not pushing it now as I feel she become dry on her own time.
Your not alone thier are lots of other children out there. PLus doctor don't see it as a problem till their 7+.

DS1 was in nite pants until 5.5. He just wasn't ready.
Then on night it clicked and he never looked back.
