Janet and Allan Ahlberg are lovely - mine loved Each Peach Pear Plum and Peepo

Busy Books - really big range of titles including some that are very Christmassy

Where's Mrs Ladybird is a brilliant book with felt flaps. £3 on amazon at the moment!

MIL bought it for DD and it's been her favourite book since she was 8 months old. She's 15 months now and still adores it.

At that age ds absolutely adored We're Going on a Bear Hunt, made him giggle every time. Also anything he could "interact" with (ie try and pull the flaps off!) so Acorn Wood books, Where's Spot, Dear Zoo.

All the Julia Donaldson books especially ‘What the Ladybird heard’
Llama Llama Red Pajama
We’re Going On a Bear Hunt
All the books by Sandra Boynton. He particularly liked Moo Baa La at that age.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Brown Bear Brown Bear What Can You See?
Little Blue Truck

Hairy Mclairy books are good to read.
Peepo.
The Slightly Annoying Elephant (with a booming voice for the elephant)

Similar to 'That's not my...' are a series of 'Never Touch a (Dragon/Monster/Dinosaur/Spider etc)' that my 12 month old loves. Or the Pig The Pug series - they are very funny and the illustrations are fab.
