Honey Roast Parsnips

Bought these as a finger food for my 10 month old, clearly not reading "honey". Will they be ok to try as the honey will be cooked (?), or best to leave until 12m+? Any advice welcomed

Personally, I occasionally offer honey if cooked. I’m more concerned with the sugar content than botulism. Obviously, you wouldn’t think twice about it if it was just you, so the chances of getting sick from them are really quite minuscule.

Honey is on the list of foods not to give before 12 months (NHS). Even cooked doesn't get rid of the risks with it.

It'll be fine. To kill botulism and it's spores you'll need to make sure the food reaches 121degrees for at least 3 minutes. Easy peasy if you're chucking it in the oven.

I wouldn't worry too much.
