Reusable nappies - where to start?

I’m hoping some of you lovely folks can help me out here. Some might say I’m a bit late to the party but better late than never hey? I’m on DC3 and want to switch to reusable nappies but not sure what to buy / how many I’d need. Youngest is only 2 months old but is it worth switching for DC2 who is 2.5 and I’m hoping to potty train come spring time? Also.....wondering if rather than pull ups for night time training is there an alternative? Thanks!!

i would have a look here, it's a trial pack so you can see what you think before ordering more. link.

as for the pull up alternatives, try here.

there are some washable wipes here if you are interested.

all the best x

I started using reusable nappies on DC3 (started when she was about 4 months). It was expensive initially to buy but there is a strong market for second hand (either for you to buy or to resell).

It's a minefield of choice - the most helpful website I've found is The Nappy Lady (also has a great Facebook group)-you can hire sets and she has a questionnaire that will point you in the direction of what will suit you.
I have birth to potty nappies which both my now 10month DC3 wears as well as my 4yr old at night. My favourite brand is Moyhereasr Wizard Uno-very expensive but in terms of fit/ease of use/bulkiness are just like a disposable .
