Hi all, not to get into a gender debate, but for those who have both, what noticeable differences did you find raising each? Me

Please excuse the 'me'. Autocorrect!

Nappies/toilet training

Different talks about sex and puberty

Dd was bullied at school for not fitting the girl stereotype and DS for not fitting the boy stereotype.

DS is physically stronger than DD generally.

Different worries about personal safety.

Everything else is pretty much their individual personality

Thanks @Moonsick, sorry to hear you DD&DS were bullied, I'm not looking forward to having to face that with my son. Interesting to hear your thoughts too, I grew up with sisters only so raising a boy will be a change.

Ds is 5.
Dd2 is 3.
So far no real differences except people bought card and jigsaw on ds' bday, dd got dolls and dresses.

My DS is almost 9 and DD’s are 6 and 7. The pregnancies were 10000x easier with my DD’s but they were by far the tougher babies and toddlers and are now definitely more highly strung than my DS. Unsure whether that’s anything to do with their sex though, I just think it’s their personalities.

One of each here. School shoes aimed at girls are generally unsuitable compared to boys' ones. Errrrm... Nits are easier to get out of short hair... There's a time when your boy will want to use the men's loos so there's the nervous wait before you realise he's just done a big poo not been assaulted and kidnapped... Everything else really has been down to their personalities.
