Newborn hearing screening

Just wondering if anyone's newborn has failed their hearing tests? My daughter has failed twice and been offered an appointment at audiology. I'm very worried and as my appointment is two weeks away it is affecting me very badly emotionally. Does a fail in the hearing test mean something is wrong? Anyone had any experience in this xx

Try not to worry just yet, my DD failed initially, and when tested a few weeks later at the hospital was fine. Sometimes the environment and fluids can have an impact on the text (her initial one was less than 24 hours after birth. Good luck x

It is a normal emotion to worry. All you have to do is think positive and life must go on. Trust your baby
