Anywhere know what i can do for DD2 hands? She wears a grobag at night but every morning she wakes up with ice cold hands/fingers i always cover her hands with the built in mitten on her sleepsuits but this doesn't make a any difference. I hate her hands being so cold Sad. Any advice?

DD hands are always a bit cold In the morning. I think it's to do with losing most of their heat through hands and feet.

I still haven't found a solution and she's 1

My DC is 9 and has always had cold hands and feet of ice !!! Some people naturally do he’s always hot as well , if I say your feet are freezing he says He’s boiling !

Babies hands aren't a reliable indicator of temperature. This was even mentioned in information we got from the hospital. They can be freezing when the baby itself is toasty.

It’s completely normal!

My dd is the same age and is the same. The HV told me that if their chest and back feel warm to touch then they are plenty warm enough. it's because their circulatory system isn't fully developed yet so don't worry Smile

Thanks everyone thats good to know i always do check her body to see if it's warm enough & it always is.
