Quick Q about dummies

My DS is 9 months, he only has a dummy when he naps or sleeps. He is very fussy and only likes mam dummies, and he only likes the teeny little ones meant for 0-6 months.

Can it do any harm to let him continue with the small size dummies, rather than switch to the 6-12 month sized ones?

Eventually their mouths can get too big that they can fit around the whole dummy (around the plastic but meant to keep them from swallowing it). When that happens it becomes a choking hazard. In the short term it’s probably unlikely, but longer term you’ll want to move to the next size up.
