What does your fussy eater eat?

My 17 month old has been quite a fussy eater for a while but has recently got worse I think due to teething. He will eat:

Porridge
Cream cheese sandwiches
Cucumber
Babybel
Grapes
Apple
Banana
Strawberries
Toast
Crumpets
Potato smilies
Mini pizza
Omelette
Plain pasta

That’s about it! Interested to hear what other fussy eating toddlers will eat so I can try something new. I keep offering vegetables with every meal but they are always flat out rejected. Any ideas of things I could try?

we are meat eaters, but i give mine vegetarian hot dogs (just for a change- have never told them and they don't seem to notice) with tomato ketchup.

mini pea pancakes with some fruit

most raw fruit and veg -
most bread products unless they have 'bits' in
some beef mince based food - chilli, burgers etc.
some types of chicken nuggets
pizza if she likes the look of it
hummus
cheese
plain pasta and plain rice
chocolate, sweets, cake (but is fussy about which types)
mini cheddars

She's 15. Years not months.

I wish you luck

My fussy 3 year old will eat:

  • cereal (not porridge though)
-toast, crumpets, pancakes
  • poached or scrambled eggs
-spaghetti hoops -sausages/hot dogs -tuna -cheese -lettuce and grated carrot but only if they're in a wrap -wraps -peas and sweet corn -fish fingers, fish cakes
  • pasta with plain tomato or cheese sauce
  • potato crap- so chips, smiles, waffles but no mash or jackets. Will tolerate roasties
-Yorkshire pudding -pizza She has got much better over the last year or so but still very limited.

All of your fussy eaters sound great to me!! My nearly 3 year old boy has been a fussy eater since he was 1! He just about eats chicken nuggets, bread/toast, fruits, yogurt, maybe smiley faces, maybe cheese sometimes, maybe a chip here and there.. and that’s been for two years!! A lot of the time he refuses most of the things I just mentioned too.. also he still loves to drink milk, he’d drink it all day if I let him.. but doctor says it’s fine because he’s growing and gaining weight!
