I've been studying to become an electrician this year, me and 17 boys.
And I just passed the most technical of all the papers, with 85% and most of the youngsters didn't and that's it, my first year is complete and i've been accepted on to the 2nd year.

well done you! bet you'll reel in the business when you're qualified too. it's inordinately sexist of me but I'd use women electricians, plumbers, builders every time if I could.

btw, i've some wiring needing done...

Snowonder - i did the 2330 city and guilds at my local college, i looked into the correspondance and residential courses but they were £6k and no practical tution until the end, which i needed as i went along.
I was absolutely terrified and nearly left on more than one occassion but today had me grinning from ear to ear i'm sooooooooooo proud of myself lol
