I breastfeed my 4 month old son.....

For the last few weeks he's been up every 2 hours... feeds and sleeps.... and now he's doing it every 1-2 hours! Sometimes he doesn't even feed a lot (like 10 mins) and it seems just for comfort....
He then does this until 4-5am and is wide awake!!

I'm exhausted and drained!! I have no idea how to maybe change his body clock slightly!
Iv tried clam baths... massage... and putting him down at 7pm... but he sleeps till 9 then is up for 2-3 hours!!

If I do it later in the night.... he sleeps from 9pm- midnight... then is up every hour till 4am!

I think I'm going slightly crazy!!
I can feel myself falling asleep when feeding him... I feel sick when I have to get up and just getting run down.

Please if anyone has advise.... or a time routine I could try?!
Thank you!!!!

Unfortunately it sounds like you've hit the 4 month sleep regression 😩 commiserations.
Our dd slept like a dream from 6 weeks only woke once a night same time every night. Then she hit 4 weeks and it all went to shit. She woke every hour on the hour nothing we did changed it. It lasted two months two weeks ago she suddenly had three or 4 nights where she was going 3 hour then 4 then only once. And now I think we've hit the 6 month regression and we're up every half hour 😑.

You might not be this bad! I've had friends who say it only lasted a week or a month at most.
The only bit of comfort I can give you is that right when you feel like you can't cope or go on like this anymore it'll either get better or you just get so used to it you find it's fine.
Her waking every hour doesn't bother me anymore, we Co sleep so I just roll over let her eat for 5 minutes and roll back.
Also white noise, we've recently dug it out again and it's really helped she still wakes but she doesn't always have to eat now.
