Baby's first infections help

My baby had her first infections but I understand she's is pain I have given her calpol but she's crying until she falls asleep and she's not really a crier I been hugging her all day to try and comfort her but nothing is there anything u mummy's used to help comfort ur babies

It's quite normal after the injections for babies to feel unwell, unsettled and even have a fever. When did you give the Calpol? You can give a second and third dose if you think she needs it, as long as you stick to the timings and guidelines on the packet - think it is 4-6 hours apart, no more than 4 doses in 24h.

Plenty of cuddles and milk as she wants it. You may find she is a bit unsettled for the next day or so - just comfort her as she needs it. It will be over soon, just have to ride it out. Mine was unsettled for a few days but most are over it quickly.
