Help about Baby Eczema :(

My DD (8 months) has baby eczema. It wasn't that bad before, but in the past 6 weeks or so, the patchy areas are getting bigger and she seems to be getting more new patches too.
Does anyone have a clue of what the possible triggers could be? I've tried to look things up online but I'm just more confused I know nothing about eczema, so I'm just trying them follow what the doctor says. I've tried 2 different prescribed creams for her (didn't work) she's had steroid cream for break outs 3 times, I've tried aveeno baby, suggested by the doctor, also doesn't seem to work, neither does E45. Im stuck! I've taken cows milk out of her diet but that hasn't made a difference. I can't think of any other food she eats that could maybe make her worse. I don't know what else to do!

Hey, I'm sorry to hear your little one is suffering, eczema is the worst. A couple years ago I tried to get an appointment with Dr Aron, but he's not taking any more bookings. I went for a hunt to find someone who uses the same or similar method (I'd heard good things about the Aron method) and there is a retired GP in Reading, UK called Dr James Pimm that uses the same method (blending low dose steroid, anti-bacterial and natural oils into a prescription cream) he's really good (well at least I think so) and he specialises in children with eczema AND he is giving a free consultation at the moment. It might be a good idea to check him out.. I mean, you've got nothing to lose with a free consultation. I find his articles are really useful too, he explores why people might have eczema etc. This is the link: drpimm.com/consulting-fees/
I hope you find something to help your daughter because eczema is so sucky :( his creams have been a godsend for me! Good luck!!

I feel for you. My ds 15 months had had it since birth. I am trying diet by Karen Fieher The Eczema Diet. It is helping i think. Our problem is the scratching which is a constant battle but scratch sleeves and bottom help. Ask for referral to allergy clinic. Eczema often result of allergy to dairy, eggs, wheat or fish. My baby is allergic to dairy, sesame and nut. Good luck
