I'm starting blw in a couple of weeks and firstly, do I need to be offering water with 'meals?' once she starts solids and if so any recommendations?

Thanks

Tommee tippee first cup with flip up lid

BrioLover · 06/11/2018 13:32

Yep the Tommee Tippee free flow cup with lid. £1.50 in Wilko!

Munchkin miracle 360 cup has been brilliant for mine!

The 360 is fab or a Doidy cup if feeling brave!

Another vote for the tomee tippee free flow one

Yet another vote for the tommee tippee flip up spout cup. I always offer water with meals but I find they don't really drink much at all to start with. Once they start dropping their milk feeds, they start to drink more water.

I got a Tommee tippee one from my HV at weigh clinic but I use one that I bought from IKEA- it's a free flow cup but has no handles which is great because DS pours water everywhere 🤷‍♀️😂

Another vote for the Tommy tippee free flow. I've tried munchkin 360 and a couple of others and he can't get the hang of them. Drinks water out of the TT and gets all excited when he sees the cup

Rainatnight · 06/11/2018 22:18

I like the Nuk soft spout one. The Tommee Tippee was too different for DD to begin with.

almondfinger · 06/11/2018 22:45

My DDs both still have and take their Tommy Tippee flip up cups with handles and lids to bed, They are 11 and 9! Still the original cups. Every other cup has ended up broken, stinky etc.

Cutesbabasmummy · 08/11/2018 12:01

Tommy Tippee all the way. Just be warned it's a pig to get the lid off!

Mylittlepony374 · 08/11/2018 12:03

Another vote for Munchkin Miracle.

feesh · 08/11/2018 12:07

My first two had the Tommee Tippee ones and they were great (apart from the lid), but number 3 didn’t get on with them so I ended up buying the NUK soft ones for him.
