Don't panic! We were all there once. My DD is 13 weeks old and every day my partner and I ask each other what did you learn about her today. Sometimes it's a way to calm her down when she's wild, sometimes it's something that has made her smile or sometimes it's something like that the cafe on main street has a great baby changing room so we should go there for coffee more often! Break things down when your LO arrives and that should help things be less overwhelming.

Have you got any booksor apps to read before he or she arrives? I read one about babies first 6 months, it gave me an idea of what to expect with her and with the changes to my body.

Hi, sorry I can’t really help as I’m 29w and in the same sort of position! I’ve never been around tiny babies much but hope it helps to hear it’s normal. I’ve been asking my older work colleagues all sorts of random questions I’d feel too silly to ask my midwife or health visitor, which helps me. It’s funny the sorts of things I get fixated on like what on earth i actually need clothes-wise for her and will I be able to breastfeed etc etc... I just enjoy researching it all and buying baby stuff and trust things will start falling into place when she comes home. Talking to my mum who didn’t have forums and internet articles, she was quite clueless when she had me but I turned out ok 👍🏻

Do you know anyone with a young baby??? Could you hang out with them for a while??? I bet if you were to make them a coffee they'd tell you everything you need to know.
They might let you hold the baby, or if you get to know the baby, take it for a half hour walk in the pushchair while your friend has a bath.
Could be a win-win..,
