Help - sleep 9 week old

In the last week my now 9 week old has started sleeping really badly at night. Wasn't the best to start with but I'd get up to 2.5 - 3hrs for longest stretch between feeds but suddenly going hourly if that and will not go down.

Before I could feed, hold (for a while) then put down and get some sleep but now wide awake as soon as I put down. Last night I fell asleep in awkward position leaning in the crib holding baby when I woke in pain and eased back onto bed and bam awake.

It's like baby can't be apart from me and as much as I love the snuggles I can't take much more of this, I have a toddler so don't get to sleep in the day time.

Baby sleeps on me in sling during the day or doesn't sleep at all.

What's going on? Has anyone experienced this? Tell me it ends (like today)

Can’t help but I’ve posted something similar. My baby is 9 weeks and her sleeps suddenly awful! Refuses to nap in the day apart from the sling. Anything else is just a 20min cat nap.

I feel your pain here. It’s exhausting :(

Also add mine daughters pattern is the same - used to get a good three hour stretch out of her on good nights. Now it’s an hour

Sorry your going through it too. For the hour of sleep at night it has to be in my arms. Can't bare to be away from me. It's so exhausting. My first didn't go this and was sleeping 5hr stretches at night, I foolishly thought this one would be similar
