I'm going out tonight and so my mum is looking after my lb who us ebf but will take a bottle. Just wondering as aware of boobs getting full, is it best to just express when I get back or try and express a bit before i go out? Will that kind of empty them a bit to allow them to last the night a bit longer? tia

How old is your baby? Assuming 3-4 months at least, you shouldn’t need to express unless you need the milk for a feed while you’re out. You’ll likely be fine for several hours unless you have a very young baby and easily get engorged. If you want some extra for while you’ll out, then do it before. Otherwise I’d see how you feel when you get back as baby might want a feed straight away anyway which will save you the trouble.

Yeah he's 3 months. So my want the extra but just wondered how to avoid the full feeling I guess, I.will probably miss 2 feeds and then (supposing he sleeps as he usually does) he will wake a few hours after we get home
