Hi,

I actually casually asked my GP about this and he sort of laughed and said "well, you're lucky" - thinking I was exaggerating or taking the piss.

It's actually really concerning me and I don't know who to go to. He falls over like most children but will never be upset by it. Things can annoy him and he tantrums but never any tears just moaning.

His nursery have said "X was so brave today" a few times as injuries and stuff have happened, but never cried.

I don't know if I should be as concerned as I am.

Can he feel pain?

I think so, he will say "ouchie" when he falls. When he tantrums, he doesn't cry either.

My son isn’t a massive crier either. If he falls when out running around or slips etc his reaction is more fury at himself than tears even though I can tell it hurts. He’s v good at picking himself up and carrying on rather than roaring at the slightest injury like one of his friend’s does. When he tantrums tears do come though.

My daughter rarely cries. She's 4.

My son was/is the same. Even when he broke his thumb he didn't cry.
