Is making me want to hop on a plane and fly to a small island!!

DD is 6M started teething at 3M.
Pretty good at staying calm and comforting her.But the past two weeks have been awful.

Bonjela
Calpol
Bibs for nibbling on
Toys for nibbling on
None are working...

And it's slowly driving me crazy as I don't know what to do.
She doesn't really sleep thru the day and is up very early.
Can't do my house work. And I am tbh wrecked...

I really feel for you OP, my 10 month old DD has just cut her first two and thankfully things seem to have settled down a bit. 🙌🏼

I used Ashton & Parsons teething powder (which you can get from Asda) and we had more success with that, than anything else.

Nurofen and anbesol oil (not gel) is what you need.

Second what PP said, nurofen and anbesol did the trick for us too. Oh and you can get those nuby teething dummy things, I got ours from boots for about 6 quid but I've seen them in B&M for nearly half the price!

Sorry to say my DC is at school & their 2nd teeth are coming through.

Boiling hot, red cheek & lots of crying tonight Sad

MyBambi · 02/11/2018 07:52

I haven't tried the powder..But I will try if nurofen doesn't work..

Haven't heard of the oil so will also try..

I have all the teething dummies and glove...

People always use to say wait till they start teething...Now I know what they mean..

I rubbed her gums and could feel her front tooth so hopefully it won't take to long to pop out..
I feel for parents during this process Flowers
Thanks ladies x

Anbesol liquid is the only thing that worked for us too.

Nurofen and calpol can be used together as long as you don't exceed doses.

Eg calpol at 10am, nurofen at 12, calpol at 4, nurofen at 6 etc.

Remember that nurofen is less doses in 24 hours than calpol, I can't remember without checking the bottles.

Powders are white, save your money!
