Just curious really, wondering how much TV does your 2 year old watch?

My almost 2 year old watches about 10-20 minutes of cartoons a day but sometimes we have it on in the background.

I hate to admit this but I’d say too much. We turn it on in the morning and it doesn’t go off till we go up to get ready for the day. Any where between 9-11. Then if we are having a day in doors it’s on all day in the background while he plays x

Much much more than yours! It doesn't concern me, we watch it together and talk about it.

He just zones out and becomes a zombie in front of the tv! 😅 then 10 minutes later snaps out of it and not interested anymore

Had it on all the time, with subtitles. Learned to read without being taught properly, from just watching cartoon.

About 10-20 mins? Not a lot. He’s not massively keen.

About an hour in the morning before we go out. An hour at lunch then around 90 minutes after dinner with his big brother. I rely on screens a bit too much but his speech and behaviour are both fab so not too bothered.

I think it's not about how much, it's about how you use it. If you use the tv just to occupy the child so you don't have to, then it could be a bad thing.
My ds spent most of his baby toddler years in hospital bed. So, having tv on all day was inevitable, and had positive effect on him. And now at 10, he rarely watches it, or addicted to screen.
