Hi all,

I’ve read I should start to introduce feeding my lo his milk from a beaker. He is now 8 months old. My question is have any of you done this and what beakers did you use?

We are currently using the munchkin 360 for water.

TIA

Is he normally bottle fed? I would just try whatever cups you already have, but don’t expect too much. He’s still quite young. My first absolutely refused milk in a cup (she was bottle fed) at that age. Like hysterical screaming every time I tried. It took til 13 months before she was happy to try it. My ds (breastfed, I think it helped that he wasn’t used to bottles) would drink from a beaker from 6 months.

If it doesn’t work at first, just keep offering every few weeks.

Mine only took a bottle from 7 months, then we introduced a 360 cup at about 9 months as supposed to be better for their teeth etc.

No problems at all and he was quickly able to drink from an open cup. We still use the 360 most of the time as it’s far less messy!
