Don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but I need advice I've been crying and having anxiety attacks, so our daughter has been off school a few times already due to chicken pox and flu obviously she's at school every other time her headmaster rang my husband and said he was reporting to the welfare officer that was like 3 weeks ago we didn't hear anything then today I took the kids to the cinema and got back to a slip in my post box saying social services had called could it be for that ? My kids are so well looked after and I love them so much so I just don't understand what else it could be for, it's upset me so much as it would any other parent the worst feeling in the world!

What’s her attendance percentage wise? It could be they are just checking to see there are no difficulties as to why attendance is low then after a chat they will realise they have wasted their time and will leave you alone.

All together she had 2 weeks off I think it's like 90% it's the only thing I can think of, he's not too fond of us anyway is her headmaster after a bullying incedent last year in her first year of school that took me to go in 7 times for it to get sorted! It's annoying that he's done it knowing she was so poorly with chickenpox and then the flu

I think you will be fine with 90% , especially as it was for illness not like you just went on a jolly for 2 weeks ! Have you called ss back ?

@pumpkinpie01 yes we found out it was our neighbours apparently we shout at our children haha! But it's been recorded as malicious as they constantly report us to the landlord because they don't like us now he's ignoring the constant complaints they have gone somewhere else it's awful really, absolutely disgusted but we won't give them the time of day like she said my kids are so happy so she's happy to just ring my daughter's teacher speak to our landlord and health visitor and close it xx
