Just over 15 months ago I decided I was ready to share my life and home again. Taking on a teenager was daunting but I adore her. My problem is "family". Within 2 months of my new partner moving in her eldest daughter and child seemed to" find" a house to rent just down the road from over 100 miles away. Fine but I am not a child minding convenience. My partner works long hours during the week and the weekends are precious(especially when the 17 year old is doing a sleep over) Oh but when she is I am given no notice at all-oh perhaps another time I said we could have the grandaughter because her mother needs space after work. Fine now and again but it is pretty much all of the time. Maybe 65 year old males do not understand African culture?
