Indecisive 7 year old DD

Decisions get her in a right pickle. She’s been in tears before in a newsagent not knowing what sweets to pick after 10 minutes of “that..... no, wait..... that...... or maybe this..... oh I’m not sure..... that..... but I want that too......”

I try to limit the choices, I try to give her more time, less time, reassure her she always makes good choices, try not to make a thing out of it when she’s being indecisive etc but she still struggles. Even when she’s decided on something I often then need to help her feel confident it was the right choice. She worries about it not working out well or not being better than someone else’s choice.

Her 4 year old sister is the opposite. Ask her a question or to make her mind up or choose and she’s there with a response and is perfectly happy with her decision.

How do I help my big girl not get stressed and have more faith in making a decision? How do I help her realize that it doesn’t matter if something doesn’t work out or doesn’t appear as good as someone else’s? It’s driving her (and me!) nuts.

Bumping for you as I'm not sure and I'm interested to read others suggestions! Did something happen to pick this off?
