15 week old with a cold - How can I help him?

Our LO has caught a cold. He has a stuffy nose and has started sneezing and coughing. We have nasal drops and are making sure he keeps warm and feeds/sleeps often. Other than this is there any tips on how to soothe him and help him get better? Sad

Feel for you OP, it sucks when they're small & get a cold but you're doing everything you can really. They do baby Vicks but I'm not sure if his old enough you'll have to check I just used to rub some on DDs baby grow/bib. If his having trouble feeding from being blocked up there is also a snot sucker (not joking) it allows you to suck it out but not get it in your mouth! Again used on DD for a bad cold, she didn't like it but it did work temporarily for feeds! Good luck, hope it's short lived!

Calpol plug in light with filters, gives off a eucalyptus scent throughout night. Worked wonders when my ds was little

You can raise the head end of the cot or Moses basket, I think it's recommended to put a book or similar under the feet of the basket stand / cot rather than put anything under the mattress at that age.
You could also try a muslin with some drops of olbas oil in the room but out of reach of the cot and not too close to the baby, I used to tie under the moses basket stand.

Flowers it's pretty rubbish for everyone when tiny ones get a cold

Do you have some sort of sling? I found some upright napping after the nasal spray helped DD
