Keep him bare bummed at home - having pants on is like a nappy to the subconscious. It won't take him long to get the hang of things

bless

a few practise runs to show him what to do when not desperate.

Boys will either wet part of their pants, trousers, toilet seat,wall or floor FOREVER - its built in, genetic make up, congenital or whatever - when he starts to wee standing up - aiming for the water in the toilet is a good ploy but they still wee on the floor{roll eyes}

In fact mine have recently been known to wee on ds3's bath seat and on the nappy bucket...

We are just potty training...
One of the criteria I was told to look for is that the child should be able to pull his own pants down, perhaps you just need to always be there helping with his pants for a while and encourage him to do it himself? Mine was so happy to have something removable as opposed to nippa nappy and wrap that he just kept pulling them down and mooning at everyone in nursery!
