Sleep when baby is unwell

Dd (just 1) appears to have come down with a croup type illness and conjunctivitis, but she's a pretty unlucky baby and seems to get every cold going.

She sleeps in her own room in a cot at night, we are in the room next door. We have a video monitor and have the doors open anyway.

I always feel that I should go and sleep on her floor when she is unwell. Is that silly or sensible? I'm worried that it's something I do to make me feel better, but that actually causes her to wake with my snoring.

Bringing her in with us isn't a good option as she just doesn't associate our bed with sleep and won't settle.

Just wondering what others do? I think I'm overthinking it now and worrying and have lost sight of what's reasonable.
