Hi I’m just looking for some advice. Got one of those diffusers cause we are all loaded with the cold. Thought I’d just try it see if it works and put about 5drops of eucalyptus oil (that’s all I could find at the time and didn’t even think!) in 100ml and turned it on. Didn’t smell overly strong or anything but my 2year old ran and has had his face in the mist and was playing with the buttons. He has gone to bed and I thought I better check as I know some essential oils are not safe for kids and eucalyptus is one of them. So now I’m like freaaaking out. Any advice? If he was to have any side effects does anyone know when they would start to show?

He would need to ingest it or have it applied topically to have much effect. A little sniff shouldn’t cause any harm.

Unless he has an allergy to one of the allergens/sensitisers in eucalyptus, he should be fine. Those are listed at the end of the ingredients list or in a separate caution statement, presuming its eucalyptus bought in the EU. Your dilution is
