8 week old feeding pattern

She’s breast fed and still feeds about every hour and a half...I thought this will have spaced out a bit by now :( just wondering if this is normal and if there’s anything I can do to space it out? I’m pretty sure the answer is no but wishful thinking...!

Normal! She will space out eventually. Remember growth spurts, BF babies feed more at 6 weeks, then 8 weeks etc.

My 29 month old DS2 still asks for milk all day long doesn't get it, mind

They are all different but mine was about 3 months before spacing her feeds, there was literally one day where she suddenly started to efficiently drain the breast.

Yes, it’s normal. I would make sure to offer both sides each time, but other than that enjoy some quiet time. I miss getting to sit down and read now.

My DS is 8 weeks and he's the same. Its normally 1 1/2 - 2 hours during the day and a bit longer at night (we managed 4 hours last night!) Spoke to my health visitor and perfectly normal x
