Wind remedies

My 3 month old has been struggling with wind pretty much since day 1.
We have spoken to HV and doctors, both suggested cycling his legs / pushing his legs up like a crunch / rubbing his belly.
Spoke to family who suggested infacol and gripe water.
Tried all of these things and DS is still suffering badly. He is really uncomfortable and is constantly straightening himself out or bending like a banana. Screaming all the time.
It's taken 4 hours to get him to settle tonight.
We can hear his lil belly gurgling all the time.

Any suggestions??

He is bottle fed and is having cow&gate formula.

Thanks

Could they be intolerant to dairy? I believe it is fairly common.

It’s a tricky one because wind is a normal part of digestion; we all get it! Sometimes they can struggle with the feel of it and it’s just a process of getting used to it. I am not surprised that the ‘remedies’ you suggested haven’t worked as the evidence for their effectiveness isn’t great. I wonder about a milk change? Hip organic is popular. If no joy I second previous poster re possible dairy allergy.

Can you just change the formula?
HV said you must not change the milk unless instructed to by a doctor?
If it's ok /"safe" to just change then I will look at doing that.

I think it is best to check with gp. I went to see mine because DS was crying all day everyday and he recommended I cut out dairy (he is BF) so maybe pop along and see them?

I Second changing to hipp organic! I changed mine straight over and was told by health visitor not too as ‘all milks are the same’ however it’s not the same, (same one who told me my lo didn’t have silent reflux and it was wind when actually it was!!) hipp is way less bubbly and you don’t have to shake it to mix, it’s so much better for my lo with wind!! Also mam or dr brown bottles.
People do swap milk over as not every brand suits every baby. I was just as worried about swapping but honestly the difference it made was amazing. Good luck
