Carrycot liners/nests?

Any recommendations for what I can use to make my pram look a little less bare please?

I have ten week old twins and an icandy Peach Blossom. I currently just put them on the mattress in the carrycots and put some blankets over them. I feel like they are rattling around in there and it doesn’t look very cosy.

Obviously I don’t want to risk their safety (my dm bought me some baby nests that look like a death trap so I won’t use them) Any suggestions much appreciatedSmile

Following as I'm the same with my 13 week old dd. I thought about putting a fleece blanket underneath her to keep her warm. One of my friends rolls up a cellular blanket and put a it around the top of the carry cot like a bumper? I kbow bumpers are not supposed to be used any more but if it's on the pram I'm guessing they wouldn't be unsupervised

I put a nice blanket at the bottom tucked under the mattress so it was nicer for DS

I don’t know if I would dare do that @Charlottejade. It’s a good idea for a singleton, but in my tandem pram you can’t see the baby in the bottom carrycot when you’re pushing it.

@Wooya Do you mean a blanket going over mattress and tucked under? Not over the baby? That’s not a bad ideaSmile

Think I’ve been brainwashed by my dm telling me prams have to look nice. I’ve got all these pram blankets etc people knitted for babies and you can’t even see them once carrycots are zipped up!

Yeah tucked under the mattress (flat or folded so it's not wonky) I took a small blanket and tucked it under the end of the carry cot to cover him with if he was chilly (even though he had loads of layers on)
