It’s been there for about a month but looking back at holiday photos today it seems that it first appeared looking like a mole before turning the colour it is now...
Help! We’re panicking it may be something sinister.
Doctors will be booked first thing tomorrow..

Blood blister?

CockerASpanielsZ · 24/10/2018 20:36

Possibly I guess.. but it’s bigger now than when it first appeared. Can that happen with blood blisters?

Lovely eyelashes!

No idea about the red mole, only that I have a random spattering of red moles myself, as well as regular brown ones.

Looks like a cherry angioma to me, I have lots of them!

ALemonyPea · 24/10/2018 20:42

DS2 had something similar on his side. His is a tufted angioma.

Thank you. Ahaha yes he does have awesome eyelashes, I’m jealous too!
Yeah I thought it was an angioma, I’ve also got a lot of them. Tufted makes sense too as it is raised (like a zit would be!).

My DD has this and it started off small and grew a bit bigger. She went to a skin specialist who said it was a small blood vessel and it may just disappear but won't get bigger. Nothing to worry about. To be honest it just suits her now and it doesn't bother her.
