I am about to become a first time mummy, what can everyone recommend? And what's the best advise please.

Thank you

I can’t recommend not putting too much pressure on yourself. Don’t worry if your house isn’t spotless, if your hair is perfect and you aren’t going out for a while. Take things easy and look after yourself and your new baby. They’re very tiring at first. Make sure you’ve got some meals in the freezer and some snacks in the cupboard and your favourite box sets to watch Smile

Sorry, that should say “I can recommend not putting too much pressure on yourself” Blush

Our freezer full of homemade meals was a lifesaver the first few weeks!

Work out a system with your dp (if you have one) for who feeds and changes nappies when. Especially at night.
From reading this forum I know some people have had issues with partners not helping (Not doing nappies at all for example!) So make sure you're on the same page before you're sleep deprived and frustrated!
