Cosytoes/footmuff help?!

We have an Uppababy Vista with extra rumbleseat attachment (2 kids aged 7 months and 19 months). Have an uppababy ganoosh (cosytoes) which 7mo is using.

19mo is in the rumbleseat but I think he will need a cosytoes too, he just can’t walk long distances. Ideally I’d get another uppababy one but it’s £130!!!!!!

Any recommendations for a cosytoes to fit uppababy vista rumbleseat? Preferably something that hooks over the top of the seat or secures on somehow. I had a cheapy universal one but it just slides down and is very flat. Help!

No advice, just amazed and impressed you can even leave the house with that age gap!! Hope someone more helpful comes along!

Haha thanks sandys we’re definitely winging it! Sometimes going out for a walk with them both strapped into the pram is all that saves my sanity!!

Bump again?

Can anyone recommend a footmuff that hooks over the back of the pushchair seat? Please?!

Hi

Have you looked at a buggy snuggle? I was going to buy one for my DS last year but they were out of stock so I bought an eBay version and it is amazing. I love it. Thick, cosy, with Velcro straps to keep it on the buggy. It's a lovely material as well.

It's not like a traditional cosy toes where the straps poke through - I found those all far too small for my very tall boy. I can't quite remember but think it was about £25. It should fit on any buggy really.

I have a liner from Mamas and Papas which has an elastic to go over the top of the pram and hooks over the seat adjustment handle at the back.

I'm not sure if their cosy toes do the same, but I know what you mean about them slipping without one!

Alternatively, you could look at getting a cheaper version and putting Velcro or a non-slip mat on the seat of the pram?

Sorry not a buggy snuggle! Although they do look nice. I meant a stayput blanket. Sorry, got mixed up.

nervousseacreature · 26/10/2018 06:39

Thank you both! I’ll check them out 👍🏻

I don't have one that hooks over the seat. That would have been great. Just popping on to say hi cuz we have the same age gap. I agree about getting them in the pushchair for a walk! It's a lifesaver!

FairfaxAikman · 26/10/2018 06:55

We have this. It's awesome

nervousseacreature · 26/10/2018 12:34

Thanks alpine it is definitely a lifesaver some days isn’t it!! We often walk up to the park so 19mo can have a run about but it’s just too long for him to walk. Plus it’s like herding cats at times!
Nice to hear of others with the same gap surviving 😅.

Thanks Fairfax that looks good, sadly out of stock just now but will keep watching for it! The tyers look perfect

We have a bundlebean which is a waterproof fleece blanket thing that has stretchy Velcro straps that go around the back of the pushchair seat. It can also be used as a cover with a sling and has a hood on it for the baby if you use it that way.

nervousseacreature · 26/10/2018 12:52

Thanks just I do put 7mo in a sling so that might be a 2 in 1purchase!

I had a red star one from John Lewis, it's was really cosy and fitted a couple of different buggies so perhaps worth a try? I would go in store and try it!

Soubriquet · 26/10/2018 16:07

I’ve had a buggy snuggle

Fab thing. Would definitely recommend

OneForTheRoadThen · 26/10/2018 16:10

Why don't you look for a secondhand uppababy one on Facebook or eBay etc? I got a bugaboo one for £25 and they're usually about £90 so much cheaper x

TheWeatherGirl1 · 26/10/2018 16:34

I just bought a Buggy Snuggle on ebay.
Really lovely and warm, secures to frame with ties and is universal

teaandbiscuitsforme · 27/10/2018 06:28

I use the JoJo one on my Vista. It's much longer than most so I think we should get another winter out of it. Lasted much longer than our John Lewis fleece one.
