My little girl has her 8 week vaccinations this evening, does anyone have any tips or tricks to make it easier for us both? I've heard to give Calpol ASAP afterwards but anything else?

Mine has his today. Just took some calpol and gave straight after. I’d go for an easy to remove outfit to get legs out. Jabs in both legs and oral dose as well. They did say to me that he will scream probably like you’ve not heard before, and he did, but soon settled after. Have to give calpol after a further 4-6 hours and again 4-6 hours after that Smile

Try and time it so they are due a feed.

If they have their mouth full of milk/nipple/bottle it's harder to scream Grin

If you decide to do this ask them to give the rotavirus one first (they will usually anyway) as that's drops so they can put the drops in first and you can wash them down with milk.
