Teething at night help please

Is there anything magical to help soothe my little one at night? She's 16 months and has slept really well for a few months. Now she's waking up in the middle of the night (1am and 5am are popular) screaming and tossing and turning for the rest of the night.

We've been giving her ibuprofen, probably 3 nights in a row now, always after she wakes up. She's dribbling lots, biting on her fingers, off her food, the usual symptoms.

Am I missing something amazing? Please say I'm missing something amazing.

I'd recommend trying Ashton & Parsons teething powder (you can get it from Asda). It worked wonders for my DD and she started to sleep through again. Unfortunately we'd not had much luck with either Calpol or ibuprofen.
