Just want to shout from the rooftops that I got my new size 2 pistachio bambineo´s yesterday, washed (x2), dried and no on ds..he´s not quite 10lbs yet so thought they would swamp him but they look fab. And they are so soft after washing them! I am surprised as I have 2 second hand wambamboo´s that are really crispy despite vinegar treatment etc etc. Have they changed the material??

geobel swear they haven't changed the material, however I think different batches are slightly different. Have you tried "stripping" the wambamboos by washing without powder untill there are no soap bubbles in the washhing water?

for new bambineos!

not tried stripping them, am happy they are soft!! (does them being soft mean something bad?) but i only wash with small amt of gentle baby washing liquid anyway so not very soapy...

sorry I meant stripping the second hand wambamboos if they were crispy (might have been build up of soap from before you got them)

i know - I have had my ds in one today and a tots wrap and it worked well and i am a pocket obsessive - anywya i have an old geobel wbb and reently stole from my stock the pistachio one and had him in that today while i had my nappy crisis - it is lush and yes the material defo feels more fluffier, im not converting to a two parter honestly but i wont be so keen to push it to the back of te pile. yey! I might just use them on a night....

do they really fit ok on a 10lb baby - wow - i am surprised cos my dd is 13lbs and her size 1 is still v roomy - so much so I just ordered a whole load more size1's cos it seems like they'll last for ages. maybe i should have just gone straight for size 2's??
bambineos are well cool - but - don't half take ages to dry in this damp weather!

morocco - so far drying isn´t a problem as I live in Spain and the weather is great for line drying but might be an issue in winter - they can be tumble dried can´t they??

i was quite surprised at how well the size 2s fit him actually. Yes they are bulkier than the size 1s and he could happily wear the size 1s for ages longer I´m sure but I just thought I´d try and save some cash and they really aren´t as big as i thought they´d be, in fact I´d even say they are about the same as the size 1 bamboozles! but to be fair i am nippa-ing the wbbs and the bamboozle is a popper so it´s not comparing like for like.
