What age is it 'safer' to have DS in our bed

And by this i mean not having to tuck myself in and around a duvet at the waist, move pillows etc. My DS is 12mo and regularly gets in to our bed at 5am ish. I'm just already getting cold so I'm wondering whether to invest in some sort of bed jumper if i have another chilly un-duvet winter ahead...

I know 1year+ can have duvets in their own bed but wasnt sure if its a no no with co sleeping

Thanks

Absolutely fine at this age. If LO finds a quilt over their face, they’re more than capable of crawling out Smile

Ah great Thank you!

Yes I must confess I stopped worrying so much a good few months ago and dd is the same age as your ds.

Phew. I figured as much but I wanted to check I was being 'safe'. Thank god. We can now snuggle 😍

Yep I stopped moving things once DD was a year old, just either put her on top of duvet or take her sleeping bag off, although she takes it off herself before I get her out of her cot now.

I've been wondering this too! Dd is almost 1 and I've only just started letting her in bed the last few weeks since shes been a bit poorly and last night I was freezing!!
