Nearly 4 - changed personality

Well my DD is approaching 4 and has in the last 2weeks changed.
She used to love school, but every day plays up and cries going in, she has changed class but the teachers have said as soon as I go she’s absolutely fine and loves it and she’s very happy when I collect her. Me and DD dad are seperated and she is crying leaving to go with him, exactly how she is going to school, eventually she does and again is fine. And then the same with going to sleep, she just wants me. As you could imagine I like the fact she’s a mummies girl, however it’s draining me. Her attitude in general has changed and is more demanding than the independent little girl she was. She’s hitting, kicking and screaming when she doesn’t get her own way. I’m really struggling to put my finger on what has changed to cause this. Half the time she’s loving but I’m really hoping this is just a phase.
Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you 😊

It does sound like separation anxiety. As hard as it is for you, the best thing you can do is to be there for her.

Has anything changed at her DF’s? I’m just wondering as it seems a bit of a reaction if it’s just a classroom change?

Isn't she young to be at school at not even 4? Manbe it's all a bit much for her?
