Hi all, sorry new to this so not sure if I’m doing this right.
I’m wondering if any other parents have had these issues with their baby!
I have an 11 month old boy. When he was born he had slight tongue tie was told by midwife it wouldn’t affect him because he’s bottle fed but he suffered with bad colic and restlessness so had his tongue done at 7 weeks. Had improvement but still knew something not right, changed him to soya milk and he got even better, doctor diagnosed milk allergy at 12 weeks and prescribed non cows milk formula, once again seen some improvements. I’ve had him privately tested also and have made sure these foods have stayed out of his diet, so I sat back and waited for him to be more settled. But this hasn’t happened even now!
His symptoms are:
Restlessness sleeps 30min - 1 1/2 hour at most.
But on the same hand always seems tired.
Irritable/cry’s for no reason all of a sudden I think maybe stomach cramp.
Even though he’s on mostly solid food he drinks loads of juice approx 4 bottles equivalent of 4 x 9oz bottles per day. As well as his 2 bottles of milk per day.
I took him to doctors to check for diabetes but his urine sample was ok but got to take him for blood test to rule it out completely! Doctor still thinks it’s his allergies something we don’t know about but I don’t know what else I can do. I’ve already paid privately for this and we need help to sort this ASAP.
Any other parents had children with allergies or similar symptoms that can shed any light on my sons problem?
