boring bambineo question for nappy sellers

I just bought some secondhand bambineos (sold as new just prewashed) but don't know if they really are bambineos or not - also noticed someone else had a similar enquiry a while back. so - nappy sellers - you must have seen plenty of bambineos - do they really not come with labels in them? the ones I bought new have professional labels in them and are quite thick compared to the one I just bought. I don't really lilke them and if the seller won't accept a refund then I want to sell them on but don't want to advertise as bambineo if I'm not sure.

There were "seconds" wambamboos for a while that were made with no labels (they were being sold for £6 each so hoping you weren't ripped off!!!) They aren't as fluffy as the new bambineos.

Or there are wambamboos - which come with geobel labels.

Hey,

I am the seller of the nappies and I bought them as bambineos for a nappy supplier on ebay (forget the name)

I actually made the "counterfeit nappy thread" asking the same thing.

I bought them as proper bambineos and would never have sold them on as such unless I thought they were.

So I guess you were ripped of Morrocco not intentionally.

If you want them at a reduced cost then I could arrange that, or send them back for a refund.

I am so sorry for the problems, I really should have mentioned that they were unbranded in the listing!

Sorry!

if they poppers its just they were made without labels....

LittleRainbowNappies · 13/06/2007 21:47

Hi, I have just had someone email me about this so I am assuming you bought them from me. The new popper version bambineos for some reason they just don't have labels on them yet.

Some of the first smaples of wam bamboos were made without labels but these were only nippa or applix version as I have a pink one that I use on my DD. So these are not those early ones.

You have not been conned at all, the retail price for them is £8.95 but I have contacted Geobel to confirm this all as I would not like anyone to be unhappy either.

mine don't have the labels on but they are damn good nappies. they have never leaked and i use motherease airflow wraps and some fleece wraps. they are really good and look so cute.

Flame · 14/06/2007 09:34

Reply has come back about the poppers - yes, the new ones (made of bambineo fabric rather than wambamboo) will have labels

kreamkrackers · 14/06/2007 09:37

just another question flame, what will happen when we try to sell these? should we say they're bambineos as i don't want somebody thinking i'm fooling them but i want as much money back for them as i can get which means they'll be better sold as bambineos.

Flame · 14/06/2007 09:49

Yes, say they are bambineos and just explain that the original popper versions had no labels

kreamkrackers · 14/06/2007 09:54

thanks
