Baby Toys?

My daughter is about to turn 7 and would like some dolls and accessories for her birthday. Partner says she is too old for these. What do others think? The particular doll plus the two 'accessories' are fairly pricey so don't want to waste money but think if that's whats she wants then surely 7 isn't too old...?!

Seven is the perfect age for a doll. Why does he think she’s too old? What has he suggested instead?

I was still playing with dolls aged 7 , also , if she wants dolls she should have them. Ditto any other toys she enjoys playing with.

7 is definitely not too old for dolls, I'd have thought it's a fairly normal age?

Also, I don't agree with age-branding toys. Let kids play with whatever toys they want. (Obviously this excludes minimum ages due to h&e)

H&s, obviously!

Well she's never going to be younger to have them. Let her have them now rather than her looking wistfully back when she is older and wishing she could have had the dolls. May be thinking back to my childhood Grin

Seven is a great age for dolls. Definitely not too old.
