Welcome to you. I belong to MN as well as NetMums - nowhere quite like MN for active conversations though.

Lucycat · 12/06/2007 14:03

Welcome kath81 and lilolil

There are quite a few of us in S Manchester lilolil - roughly where are you?

lilolil - didn't realise you were new.

lilolilmanchester · 12/06/2007 14:19

fryalot · 12/06/2007 14:27

gosh - could have sworn I was talking to you longer ago than that.

I used to live in South Manchester....

lilolilmanchester · 12/06/2007 14:37

Squonk, joined MN after it was mentioned in a newspaper article about Madeleine McCann so can't have been much more than a month. Glad I feel like an old friend already!!! (if you've got the right person!)

tis very addictive, kath

lilolil - twas probably a couple of days ago, it just seemed longer

lilolilmanchester · 12/06/2007 15:06

well after today, feel like I've known you for years Squonk!
Sorry your DDs not well Kath81, hope she's better soon. And do watch out, MN can get really addictive (house is a tip and gotta do school run in 10 mins, and what am I doing?!!) Also, I started off by feeling unloved if I wrote something, even not on one of my own threads, and no-one added any more. I felt a bit like they were saying "ah, Lilo's on this one, we'll end it there..." - saw post from a newbie who felt the same too. Or perhaps you're not as neurotic as me Kath81!

bumperlicious · 12/06/2007 15:09

Don't worry, everyone gets that "oh no I'm a thread killer" paranoia. Warning - mumsnet might just ruin your life! You won't be able to get through the day without it. And things will happen in RL (btw good idea to check the acronym list at the top to decipher everything!) and you'll thing "can't wait to tell them all on mumsnet about this!"

kath81 · 12/06/2007 16:26

Know what you mean lilolil- I did worry that no one would say hello but you all have so thank you. Can already see this might be addictive as I am chatting on here while arguing with my 5yr old ds about learning her spellings! Does anyone else think they get far too much homework too young these days? Will check out the acronym list so I know what you're all going on about!
