Hello!

I was just wondering how often other people’s babies fed and woke at night and in the day?

My baby wakes every 2 hours in the night, some times every hour, for a feed and a change. In the day she’s still up and down with cluster feeding! (I’m breast feeding with the odd formula bottle).

She’s literally been asleep all day so reckon I’m in for a busy night..just wondering about other people’s experiences :)

Same! Ds changed a week ago and started sleeping in big chunks now - he's 12 weeks old

It's so varied. Mine woke up every 20-30 minutes all night until they were six months old. Never slept more than 30mins straight in the day either and screamed most of the time they were awake until they were 1ish. I was almost broken.
My sisters little boy slept 13 hours a night from 6 weeks old even though he was breastfed.

Pot luck. And it will all change again if they struggle with the 4 month regression or teething or anything else they have to cope with!

Very normal. It’s important for babies to wake often at night to feed as that is when prolactin (the milk producing hormone) is at its highest so baby feeds to stimulate your supply. All normal, not just normal, but really good. It’s exhausting though. It’s also a safeguard against SIDs for babies to wake often throughout the night.
