Nighttime wrap/pull-up recommendations needed please

DS (23 months) normally has washables in the day and Nature Baby disposables at night. But he's now almost dry during the day so I'm taking the opportunity of a lighter washing burden to put him in washables overnight.

I've got all sorts of nappies, prefolds, all in ones, shaped, wraps, boosters, different makes, and I was hoping my nappy-buying days were over!

But I'm struggling to find a combination that's doesn't gape when I boost it. So far Motherease Rikki wraps are doing best but I don't think they'll fit him for much longer.

I was thinking something that pulls up like pants and can be stuffed would be good. Anybody know if that exists? Or, if not, suggestions for wraps that don't gape at the legs when they've got a lot of stuffing?

Can't think of a stuffable that wouldn't do this, but Rebs wraps are fab. They pull on like pants so no gaps.

Oh but not the ones with cotton outer for night, sometimes they wick. The ones that are PUL like fuzzi bunz material.

Rebs or wool pants/shorties for a wrap.

The only stuffable I trust for night is a minki.

Thanks very much for the responses. I'll look into the Minki Yoyo. Any idea which size is best? DS is slim and tall and about 35lbs. I read somewhere that the Minki sizing was a bit odd.

He'd def need the XL size. They are small, we found them hard to pull up and down with the lycra sides.
Must say though I didn't find the Yoyo's any good at night as they don't cover all the bum and could gape if over stuffed!! Prefer a normal minki. Someone on buy and sell is selling a couple, may be worth doing that to see how you go with them.

I agree that a standard minki is better for night

Thinkstoomuch · 12/06/2007 23:49

OK, what's the sizing of a standard Minki like? should I get Large 18-40lb or XL 40lb+?
Thanks for this great advice.

I've gone ahead and bought one sized large, just to see how we get on. Plus got some adorable-looking Bright Bots trainer pants - so cute!
Thanks again for the expert help
