Hi all my little girl started play school yesterday. We had done a settling session where I stayed for 2 hours and she was there for 3 hours yesterday.
Had a call after an hour to say she was ok. Then when I went to pick her up they said she had a couple of moments with sharing to be expected.
But I could tell she had been crying and they told me she had got really distressed with them trying to change her nappy.
She is a sensitive girl and anything new is very frightening and distressing for her e.g. a new top or pair of shoes.
She is in pull ups but they wanted to lay her down to change her with a taped nappy. She was very upset so they took her into a quieter area but had no luck and gave up till I come and I changed her standing into a pull up and was fine.
How do I help her? It's making me upset the thought or her crying and not being able to let them know why or be able to ask for her cloth (comforter) she is not 100% on talking yet.
Any advice? She is 3 Jan
