How long does your newborn sleep daytime

Hi just wondering for those of you who have a newborn...

What their age is?
How long at a time do they sleep during the day?
What do you do with them when they aren't sleeping?

Hi OP, my 2 week old sleep a lot - more than I remember DS1 ever slept. He feeds every 4 hours and is then awake for roughly 30 min, more in the day than night. He just looks around, staring at his dad, brother or me. I just either hold him and chat to him or put him on his playmat and the family talks to him while he stretch out. No idea if that's right, they really are all different. How is your baby?

Mines is 4week old feeds pretty constantly, so when not feeding is asleep. But might only sleep 20mins before wanting fed again
