Won't stop crying!

My LO will be 6 months on October 6th. Since turning 5 months she increased her feeds... she's exclusively breastfed. She won't try food. As much as I try.

And now she's screaming everytime I put her down during the day. If she goes on her playmat instant screaming as soon as I let go.
Same if I put her in her bouncer chair. Ive not even moved away from her and she is hysterical.

She used to sleep from 8 till 7. Had done for months. Now wakes up screaming at 5am.

I'm not coping with this now. It's been nearly a month and she's not calming down. I just want to drink a hot cup of tea and have 5 minutes.

And don't say about my partner he's not a hands on dad. Happy to leave LO to cry... and me.

Yup I am now at the crying stage. Feeling pathetic.

My baby is the exact same age! She's going through a stage like this just now where she doesn't like to be left (although not as extreme as yours sounds!). It's a developmental phase and will pass. It's hard but you just need to ride it out unfortunately. Have you got a carrier? You could put her in there to potter round? Does she nap? I use my baby nap times to sit and have a snack and watch an episode of something on tv!

Your partner will just have to help. You really need to speak to him about how you're feeling!

Does your baby sleep from 8-half 5? That is still a good stretch for a breast fed baby! Try getting to bed earlier so half 5 doesn't feel too early.

Have you read Annabelle karmel book about weaning? It's really interesting and might help to get her interested in weaning. Don't give up, the trick is perseverance and being calm. I haven't started yet but her book has given loads of confidence for when we do.

You're not alone! Try getting out for a walk with the pram. Have you friends I visit? Family to help?

Bless you that sounds awful. My daughter is very clingy and doesn't like it when she can't see me. She hates laying down. However she loves her walker and watching baby rhymes. This just gives me enough time to get a cuppa and relax a little.
