My 5 week old has been screaming quite violently ( unlike his normal cries) then apparently falling into a deep sleep until he wakes/ is put down when the cycle starts again. He's been like this all day and I really don't know what to do. He's been having infacol for a couple of days to help with a bloated tummy and I missed a couple of doses today but I really don't know what to do. Thank you x

Aw poor thing! Is he maybe constipated?

LittleBearPad · 25/09/2018 23:24

Trapped wind?

NameChangeJustThisOnce1 · 25/09/2018 23:41

Definitely trapped wind. Is he formula fed or breastfed? Have you tried anti colic bottles? (MAM worked amazingly well for my DS). Change to a gentle formula like HiPP Organic if he is formula fed. If nothing works then it is worth going to see a doctor and see whether he is lactose intolerant or dairy intolerant. If you're BFing then you just cut them both out of your diet. Hope LO is feeling better soon poor thing x
