Anyone use Kendamil infant formula milk to feed their baby?

I don’t sorry but I’m really interested to know about it so placemarkong if that’s ok!

@LowKeyKoala

I actually use it myself! I was wanting to find out what other people do when it comes to going out for the day etc as they don't do a ready made version so it does become slightly restrictive.

Just to give you some info - I changed to this milk as my son didn't seem to be liking SMA. I found he constantly had an upset tummy and seemed very uncomfortable after feeding and had really bad wind/reflux. I researched and saw there was a lot online about the big brand milk companies using fish oils, palm oil etc in their formula and how the fish oil has been linked to increased reflux in babies. Anyway, whether or not that was true I wanted to change milk and felt if there was a fish oil and palm oil free alternative I would give it a go. The milk is made from full cream and smells so unbelievably different from other brands - smells so creamy and lovely lol

My son still has reflux but since switching he is a different baby. No tummy problems, burps easily and guzzles the milk like no tomorrow. Hope that helps if you were thinking of switching!

That’s really interesting as my LO has silent reflux and struggles with feeds. We’ve tried all sorts including Hipp but settled on Aptamil Anti-Reflux which still doesn’t go down well. So might give this a go! I was looking at the ingredients when I first got it and thought it was interesting that it has fish oil etc in.

Thanks for the info!

That’s really interesting! There are so many mums posting similar posts to this one - posts without any point or question, which just ‘advertise’ how great Kendamil is!

It’s almost as if Kendamil’s marketing team are using Mumsnet as a source of free ads!

Or as if they’re breaking the rules on infant formula advertising!

But I’m sure they’re not daft enough to do that, as they know Mumsnet users would pick them up on it very quickly
